Certificate of Catholic Practice
Signing of the CCP for Catholic Schools
If you're applying for a place at a Catholic school, the priest can sign a Certificate of Catholic Practice (CCP) once your family's regular Mass attendance has been confirmed. Please visit your Local Council or the school's own website for the application form and guidelines, then contact the priest to arrange signing as outlined below.
Before You Apply
The Archdiocese sets clear requirements before a CCP can be signed. Please check you meet these before contacting the priest.
Two Years' Regular Attendance
The Archdiocese requires families to attend Mass regularly, every Sunday or Saturday evening, for at least two years before a priest can sign the CCP.
Attendance Card
An Attendance Card is used to record your family's presence at Mass. Ask the parish office for one if you don't already have it.
Letter From Previous Parish
If you're new to the parish, you'll need a letter from your previous parish priest confirming your Mass attendance there.
